Overview

A kidney health technology company engaged Pioneer to build an enterprise cloud data platform and integrate critical business systems during its divestiture from a top medical device company. Pioneer provided full lifecycle support — from platform design and data migration to system integrations and analytics development, ensuring seamless operations and actionable insights.

The Challenge

Supporting the divestiture of a kidney health technology company from a top medical device company required navigating multiple critical challenges, including tight TSA deadlines to establish US commercial systems and multiple third-party technology vendors in ERP deployment, data migration, and system integrations. Additionally, they needed to enable seamless data flow across platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and Snowflake while ensuring reliable reporting and analytics.

The company turned to Pioneer to address these complexities and ensure a successful transition by building a Microsoft Azure enterprise cloud data platform, architecting data transfers across systems, and modeling data for reporting.

Integrations & Automations:

  • SAP (ERP & OMS): Architected numerous workflows that provided SAP data for use in 3PL, CRM, Distributor Chargeback Tracing & Sales Compensation applications
  • Salesforce (CRM): Created triggers and workflows to maintain account & product parity between SAP and Salesforce.
  • Medtronic Snowflake: Provided migration data through direct Dare Warehouse integration

Data Mapping & Migration:

Across five dashboard content areas that cover the following:

  • Mapped SAP ECC data to new SAP S4/HANA BTP objects.
  • Created ETL workflows in Azure to extract, transform, and load data between systems

Analytics KPIs & Dashboards:

  • Sales: Embedded Tableau Dashboards in Salesforce from cloud server environment.
  • Finance: Modelled complex financial data from multiple sources in Power BI dashboards.
