Pioneer Management Consulting's 34 employees had to quickly adapt to working from home after vacating the company's North Loop office in March as the state implemented stay-at-home orders and the coronavirus spread in Minnesota.
While working remotely, the Minneapolis-based business strategy and data analytics firm has implemented daily leadership stand-up meetings to stay aligned on changing priorities, and added weekly Zoom calls to keep everyone up-to-date.
To support other local businesses, Pioneer challenged its employees to make 200 positive small contributions to small businesses and the broader community in two weeks or less.
Team members found a value in connection while working remotely by sewing masks, purchasing gift cards from local restaurants, and sending cards to local nursing homes.
They also recently shared some images of their own home offices with the Business Journal.
